Every wedding is different, it’s you, your family and your friends that make it so. You can have the same venue, musicians, caterers but it’s the people who make your day so very different and that’s what I like to capture in my wedding photography.
The wedding day is such a special and important time in your life – I know, I’ve done it and I loved every minute of the day I married Jess (my wife of course). It’s the point that you build to from months (or even years) of planning to make the day perfect and full of delight. I understand you want your wedding photographs need to reflect all of this and that’s exactly what I always do in my wedding photography. I am based in the Peak District and as such I also like to combine my love of Peak District landscape photography with my wedding photography which can give you some truly unique and breathtaking wedding photos which give the perfect combination of Peak District wedding photographs.
So if you are happy to do things differently and don’t want all those group shots but instead you want a photographer who is happy to capture all of those intimate moments from a candid point of view then I’m your man. I love to people watch and one of the best ways to do it is through the lens, it makes for some really beautiful natural shots when people don’t realise your looking. Of course if you want to do all the group photos and make sure the train dress is perfectly fanned then I can do it too but what I really love is to see your personalities shine through…
…that’s why my photography is all about your personalities, the things that make you tick, the reason you look at each other and your eyes twinkle. What your photos should reflect is that unique quality that you both share, it’s what makes every wedding different, it’s the stamp that you put on your wedding – the stamp that I want to capture for you.
I want to hear what you want, I want to get together with you and find out what makes you tick, what group photos you want, maybe we can hook up and get some pre wedding portraits too – so you can make sure you’re happy with my style and a test run to show you I can get on with your guests. Of course I am a Peak District photographer but that doesn’t mean that I won’t travel further to capture your wedding photography, I’ll even come all the way round the world if you need me to, just as long as you can pay the airfare.
