Vaughan and Emma’s wedding

Vaughan and Emma’s wedding took place at St Barnabus Church in Bradwell, a venue I am extremely familiar with having shot a whole host of weddings here, it’s a great church as it offers some split level views from a photographers aspect – this means I can get a good variety of shots from different vantage points. The wedding was lovely as it always is in this church, after which we headed up to Blue John Caverns to get a good landscape shot looking out across the Hope Valley, something that Vaughan and Emma had really set their hearts on. It wasn’t the warmest weather and the sun didn’t quite want to come out but that didn’t matter, the view from there is gorgeous whatever the light and these guys certainly did enough to light any photo up.

After the ceremony and photos at Blue John Caverns it was back to the wedding reception which was held at The Rising Sun Hotel between Bamford and Hope, everyone seemed to have a great time and we got some lovely formal shots with all the family as well as the hilarity and reflection that were the speeches. After the first dance I left the guests to bop away into the wee hours of the early morning.
