Well what a beautiful day and at an extremely beautiful venue, the day was very relaxed and a relatively shorter day than I am used to with the coverage starting at around 2pm for a few pre wedding photos before the main event took place shortly after. It was my first time shooting a wedding at Upper House in Hayfield having already visited the location to scout out areas for shots, get a feel for the area and subsequently to complete some commissioned work from the owners to showcase on their website.
The weather was beautiful during the bulk of the afternoon which meant that the ceremony could be held outside in the beautiful courtyard area which was such a lovely and relaxed atmosphere. After the ceremony the guests and the new Mt & Mrs Campbell socialised and celebrated in the courtyard area which allowed me lots of time to get some more lovely candid shots of people enjoying and celebrating the occasion.
Ryan and Leontina wanted me to stay around after the wedding breakfast and speeches for the evening fun and frolics, I’m really glad I stayed as it was clear that the guests from all generations of the party were game for a bit of fun and people having fun is always a pleasure to photograph.
Take a look at a small selection of the images from their day below.
