Rebecca + Dan | Allerton Manor Golf Club

After meeting Dan + Rebecca on our video call I knew I was going to have plenty of fun around these guys and their guests. I certainly did, from the moment I was welcomed into Rebecca’s Granny’s house while the bridesmaids were in full MUA and Hair prep. There were so many lovely moments with everyone busy getting ready and doing Rebecca’s makeup and hair. One especially funny moment was one of the bridesmaids managing to have a fake eyelash disaster (see photos below) which provided plenty of laughter throughout the day. The arrival of the best bridesman Aaron notched the excitement up a level again, providing us with entertainment all day; what a great guy! Thanks to Aunty Jane for the endless offer of cups of tea as well (you make a cracking cuppa).

Rebecca’s Granny, Bridie, had been busy back and forth to Allerton Manor helping to get the venue ready before racing back to check on everyone else and get the flowers ready. Bridie had also made the wedding cake and I tell you what, it looked absolutely amazing!

Rebecca arrived at Allerton Manor in style and it was time to head in for the ceremony. Aaron did his very best to scatter flowers down the aisle in the most entertaining fashion and the bridesman did a great job as part of the ‘I do Crew’. I had only known these guys a short time but it was still special even for me to see Bridie walking Rebecca down the aisle to meet Daniel.

After a wonderful and relaxed ceremony, it was time for the guests to say their congrats to the lovely couple. Endless hugs, kisses and a few tears were shed. I love this time of the day too, it’s always lovely to see and document the sincerity of happiness from a bride and groom’s nearest and dearest. We grabbed a few group photos that Dan and Rebecca wanted while we had the weather and before heading into the wedding breakfast. But not before I’d captured Bridie’s hard work in decorating the room and creating that wonderful cake!

Rebecca and Dan arrived in to a room full of cheer and applause as we headed straight into the speeches. Again another favourite part of the day, I think because as much as I get to know my couples I feel like the speeches just add the cherry on top. Oh and often with some funny stories as well. Rebecca and Dan’s speeches were no exception and plenty of laughter and emotion were on display as well as plenty of props from Danielle’s childhood used in his sister’s speech.

After the meal, I borrowed Dan + Rebecca for 5 minutes to create some unique couples portraits outside. I created some seasonal images to really add to the story of their wedding day and I just loved how on board they were with trusting my judgement and getting stuck into the process.

Then after a bit more mingling with the guests, it was time for the evening shenanigans but anyway enough from me, have a watch of their photo highlights video below or you can always scroll through the images underneath. Enjoy.
