Melissa + Steven | Losehill House Hotel

Steven + Melissa booked in with me around 2 years before their big day and were very clear that they wanted someone who would be relaxed and capture their day – exactly what I like to do for my clients. I met Melissa and the bridesmaids over at their home to capture bridal preparations and the trip over to Losehill House in the Landrover they had hired from Yorkshire Vehicle Hire.

Their ceremony was lovely, and all were held outside under the wooden gazebo that is licensed for weddings at Losehill House Hotel thankfully, the weather stayed fine for the whole ceremony and the rest of the day. After the ceremony, they had a lovely drinks reception on the lawn at the back of the house, and we were all entertained by 2 relatives who were singing for the newlyweds. I did a few group shots that Melissa + Steven had asked for before the day, and then we even had Ronnie, their dog join us for some photos, complete with his bow tie on and looking very handsome indeed. After the group shots and Ronnie stealing the show I did a few couples portraits with Steven + Melissa using the lovely grounds at Losehill House Hotel as well as some photos with the Yorkshire Vehicle Hire Land Rover in front of the house before heading on to the lane.

After the couple’s portraits, it was back to join their guests and head into the wedding breakfast with speeches to follow the meal. Some lovely speeches from everyone, and it wasn’t long before the evening celebrations were to commence with their first dance.
