Josh + Lissy | Losehill House Hotel

Back at Losehill House Hotel for the wedding of Josh + Lissy, and what a lovely wedding it was with the weather to match. Josh + Lissy wanted full-day coverage of their wedding to do what I do best and document the day and the moments as they unfold; it was such a fun day, and I have to say these guys and their guests were just so much fun. Plenty of RAF vs the Army banter to be had between Josh and his best man (not that I sided with the Army banter, of course; sorry, Josh!).

Bridal prep and groom prep both took place at Losehill House, which made it great for being able to nip between both Josh and Lissy while they were getting ready. The ceremony was beautiful, and it was fantastic to have ‘The Distance’ there playing more of their beautiful music to accompany the wedding. After the ceremony, we went on to do a few group portraits before heading off down the lane for some couples portraits between Josh + Lissy, which both myself and the guys are pleased with. I love using the lane here because it fits my relaxed style of couples portraits really well, and it also makes for some gorgeous lighting at the same time. Great images in a relaxed environment = absolute winner for everyone!

The speeches were equally as comical as some of the moments during prep, and I did feel a little guilty putting Josh off when I focused on photographing his muddled cards during his speech. It was funny to add to the humour, and Josh took it in his stride and got back on track; I love these little memories of the day that perhaps feel so insignificant at the time to some people, but to me, they add to what the whole day is about.
