Jo + Stephen | The Maynard

Great to be back at The Maynard for Jo + Stephen’s wedding. I started off with Stephen getting ready in one of the rooms with some ironically hilarious wallpaper, which made us both chuckle, so we had to get a few photos with it! It was fab to see some personalised parts of Stephen’s outfit as well, especially his bike chain link cufflinks, all part of Stephen’s love of triathlons. I headed over to Jo and her tribe to capture the bridal prep and of course, her beautiful dress, which looked stunning in the window light hanging from one of the staircases; it’s nice to be able to do this when there aren’t too many guests around before the wedding. It was also the first time I have ever seen a bride’s bouquet made out of purely paper, they looked fantastic, and it’s nice to be still seeing new things after 11 years of photographing weddings.

After the ceremony and the confetti line, we took the chance between rain showers to capture the group photos that Jo + Stephen wanted as well as a big group shot before heading off for their couples portraits. We nipped up the road to Padley Gorge to use the gorgeous surroundings and to create some lovely relaxed portraits of just Jo + Stephen before heading back for their wedding reception and more games in the gardens. Anyway enough from me, have a watch of their photo highlights video below or you can always scroll through the images underneath. Enjoy.
