Becci + Tom | Birtsmorton Court

It was so nice to have the day finally come round to see Becci + Tom again for their wedding day. I’ve known both Becci and Tom for several years through my previous working life as a Graphic/Web designer and all round marketeer, and it’s been a pleasure to see them both grow their successful business, SourceCo; you couldn’t really want 2 nicer people to succeed so well and deserve to do so! Venturing well out of my Peak District surroundings to join the celebrations at the wonderful Birtsmorton Court, a first time visiting and I love new venues because I get to see them with fresh eyes and enjoy being in new surroundings to document the wedding day. Also really nice that everything is on site in one place meaning I could go between the groom and bridal preps.

I started with Becci and her bridesmaids (oh and of course Roo the dog; and chief ring bearer) in a lovely chilled atmosphere before meeting up with the boys in what you might call a more jovial atmosphere. Plenty of laughs and giggles over a few beers and whiskies before the boys headed over to the ceremony location on the lawn just outside the main house, thankfully nice and early to re-errect the flower arch which had blown over in the wind, there’s always a comedy moment to be documented.

After a beautiful outdoor ceremony and drinks reception I borrowed Becci + Tom for some portraits as well as their line up photos before we headed back in to their reception and speeches. Sadly after the speech from Becci’s father I can now only ever see Tom as Wilson from the film, Hideaway; check out the photo below and you’ll see what I mean. Some serious love and respect in the room though from the speeches.

After the speeches we went into the cake cut, dancing and an epic fireworks display before a sparkler finish… Anyway enough from me, have a watch of their photo highlights video below or you can always scroll through the images underneath. Enjoy.
