Logo Design

I’ve been doing logos for quite some time now and I’d love to create one for you…

The design of your logo and the language of your brand are one of the most important assets to your business or product – poor communication could lose you business but great communication will certainly keep the accountant happy. Logo Design is an exciting area of the design world, it is a chance to bring new life to a business or product and create an effective hard working personality for your brand.

So why do you need a logo…

You want to be the business that others remember, the one that stands out above your competitors. Your logo helps elevate you by giving you a professional look and by making you memorable to others. Your logo will help your current customers remember you later and attract future customers. When properly designed, your logo conveys that you are credible, trustworthy, and professional.

Here’s my 13 reasons why the above statement is important:

  1. It will make your business look larger and more established. Business cards and logos created at home using clipart just yell out to people that you are small and not really too fussy about your image – this is how propective clients will view you.
  2. It will increase your chances of winning new business by giving your company an ora of professionalism and completeness – by presenting a well-rounded business package that includes marketing materials and graphics, your business will look more complete.
  3. People do judge books by their covers. Some clients look for a well-defined company, and “look and feel” may be one of their criteria for making a purchasing decision.
  4. It’s important to brand yourself. It’s important to build up a brand to convey yourself to your clients, it will give them an idea of what you’re like before they even meet you
  5. A good logo will convey that you are reputable company – a logo and professionally-printed collateral shows that you are committed to your business and your clients.
  6. A good logo will convey stability – so you haven’t been in business “since 1922,” but with a good invetsment in your identity you are more likely to remain firm and relevant in the eyes of your customers. It goes a long way toward building trust.
  7. It will make you memorable – most people will usually remember something that they have seen over something they have read or heard. So to have graphics associated with your business, and to keep those graphics consistent, makes you more likely to be at the forefront of potential clients’ minds when they next need your goods or services.
  8. You need to explain your company name. Logos give meaning to your business name, especially if it isn’t particularily well-known.
  9. To endear your company name to your clients – a difficult-to-pronounce or hard-to-remember company name makes it challenging for clients to hire you. When potential clients need your services, they may not recall a tricky name. But if you reinforce the name with interesting, compelling graphics, they are more likely to remember you, pick up the phone, and hire you.
  10. Explain an unusual line of business – if your business is nontraditional or in a hard-to-explain industry, a logo can help to clarify exactly what it is that you do.
  11. Differentiate you from your competition – a well-designed logo and corporate identity can have many subtle meanings and can begin to tell the story of how you do business, including the special practices that make you stand apart from the competition.
  12. Expectations – in most industries, a logo is just something we have come to expect. For example, in my line of business having a logo is an industry standard!
  13. Show your commitment – do it for the sense of personal pride that it will add to yourself and your employees.

How will you be able to use your fantastic new logo…

You will be able to use your logo wherever you like whenever you like.
