My CV

I work as a freelance graphic designer to solve customer needs as per their particular problem or aim. I have produced a sound base of work for many clients with successful outcomes. I have a good knowledge of industrial printing and preparing artwork for print. I specialise in logo / brand design. I design websites using pure CSS. I interact well with customers in a polite and friendly manner.

I work within the communications team at National Office as the Design & Communications Assistant, myself and the Marketing team are responsible for all design work carried out within YHA. My duties include overseeing my own design projects, continual maintenance and addition to the organisations photo library, commissioning photographers, liaising with hostels and buying print to name a few.

My role within Hammer Design has been one of Studio Designer specialising in Graphic Design for print, although I have worked on a number of websites whilst at the company. I deal directly with clients as well as following briefs set by the Creative Director. In my time at the company I have broadened my skills by taking on other responsibilities such as maintaining the office Network and keeping the studio up to date with the latest technologies.

Second Class Honours (First Division). Designing packaging which challenges written briefs, it involves a lot of research, creative thinking, constant knowledge of new technologies, working with advanced computer software. There are both elements of 3 Dimensional work and also 2 Dimensional graphic based work. Not only does it involve the actual packaging but the whole concept of the brand, in effect creating the branding for the brand.
